FAQ
Common Questions
How long can I stay?+
The average stay is 90 days, but residents may stay longer based on their individual recovery needs and progress. There is no fixed maximum length of stay.
Can I have visitors?+
Yes. Visitors are welcome during designated visiting hours. All visitors must be sober and approved by house management.
Can I bring my children?+
Lotus House is currently an adult-only facility. We can help connect you with resources for family reunification as part of your recovery plan.
Do I need to be in treatment to apply?+
You do not need to be actively enrolled in a treatment program, but you must be committed to a recovery program such as AA or NA and willing to follow all house guidelines.
What if I relapse?+
A relapse results in discharge from the house. However, we are committed to your long-term recovery and will help connect you with appropriate treatment resources.
Is transportation available?+
We do our best to assist residents with transportation to meetings, appointments, and job interviews. A community transportation fund helps cover costs.
